Jessica Brenner

Jessie Brenner is a policy associate in the Brennan Center’s Justice Program, advancing the Law Enforcement Leaders to Reduce Crime and Incarceration project through strategic initiatives and legislative research. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Brenner graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a degree in criminal justice and psychology. She complemented her studies working at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she supported prosecutors in the public corruption unit. She also worked at Prisoners’ Legal Services of Massachusetts, advocating for incarcerated individuals’ civil rights through policy reform, impact litigation, direct client advocacy, and brutality investigations.
